Susan Lamb Parenti

Susan Parenti is president of Parenti Partners, a boutique culinary consulting practice specializing in food marketing support services. With 25 years of experience in the culinary world, Susan’s breadth of experience and knowledge combined with her unbridled passion and commitment, are unparalleled in today’s business environment.

Prior to founding Parenti Partners in 1997, Susan spent 12 years on staff with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (National Live Stock & Meat Board), and has been an active consultant to the group ever since. There she garnered an incredibly diverse skill set, managing and being involved in large-scale projects such as the prestigious National Beef Cook-Off, and serving as an integral part of the Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner ad campaign from its inception until now.

Susan co-authored Skinny Beef and has contributed to a variety of cookbooks including Weber’s Art of the Grill Recipes for Outdoor Living and many for Better Homes and Gardens. Other project work for clients included retail promotions, organizing product showcasing events for senators on Capitol Hill, managing trade shows, sales meetings, presentations and seminars at such renowned sites like The Greenbrier and The Culinary Institute of America, art directing still food photography, and producing commercials for in-store TV, videos and instructional shorts.

In addition, Susan has worked extensively in new product development with numerous clients, from meat companies to gourmet food companies. Functioning in all different channels – retail, food service and direct selling – has earned Susan a reputation as an industry expert, with former colleagues and clients turning to her for culinary expertise and knowledge.

Susan is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and Les Dames D’Escoffier International. She lives in Park Ridge, IL with her husband, Salvatore and their four children, Maria, Solly, Kaia and Dominic.
